Where are Medicare Offices?

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has its main headquarters’ offices in Baltimore, Maryland and in Washington, D.C. The Baltimore location is in Woodlawn, Maryland, in western Baltimore County.

It is situated in a convenient area that is directly off the Baltimore Beltway (I-695), close to many shops, places of worship, restaurants, and medical facilities. The Washington, D.C. location is in the heart of the nation’s capital, and it offers all of the amenities of a cosmopolitan site.

There are also numerous regional Medicare offices that are located throughout the United States. These include areas such as Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas, Kansas City, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, and Seattle.

Region l – Boston

The Boston office is located in the John F. Kennedy Federal Building in Room 2325, near the historic area of the Boston Tea Party and across the street from the historic North End. This building contains a Cafeteria, a large Day Care Center, a Health Unit, and a Fitness Center.

Region ll – New York

The New York office in located at 26 Federal Plaza in Room 3811, in New York City, New York.

Region lll – Philadelphia

The Philadelphia office is located in the Public Ledger Building, on the Second Floor, in Suite 216. This office is situated in the historic district, directly across the street from Independence Hall.

Region VI – Dallas

The Dallas office is located at 1301 Young Street, in Room 714. This CMS office is in a modern, bright, and open building that features a soaring, 11-story glass atrium with gentle waterfalls and fountains on the ground floor. This building is directly across the street from the Dallas City Hall and the Dallas Convention Center.

Region VII – Kansas City (MO)

The Kansas City office is located in the Richard Bolling Federal Building in Kansas City, Missouri. This building is currently undergoing a major renovation. Kansas City is referred to as the “City of Fountains,” and the Federal Building is just minutes away from the Country Club Plaza, which is noted for its great shopping.

Region VIII – Denver

The Denver office is located in the Colorado State Bank Building. This regional office is composed of the states of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. These six states comprise approximately 573,297 square miles – or about one-sixth of the United States land mass. This area is one of the largest of the nation’s ten CMS Federal regions.

Region IX – San Francisco

The San Francisco office is located at 75 Hawthorne Street, on the 4th and 5th floors, in San Francisco, California.

Region X – Seattle

The Seattle regional office is located at 2201 Sixth Avenue, in Seattle, Washington.
